Filtration

                          💦 Filtration💦

My name is Jai Naidu, I’m 11 years old and currently in 6th grade, studying in
the D section. I created this blog to share my thoughts and experiences. I hope you enjoy reading my blog!.

Inquiry Name: How can we combine the scientific knowledge from the past with modern concepts of science to create a science exhibit for primary students❓

What is PBL for me🙋:👬 Project-based learning (PBL) is a teaching method that involves students👨👨 working on a project over an extended period. It focuses on solving real-world problems or exploring complex questions, encouraging active learning and critical thinking. Instead of passively receiving information, you engage in hands-on projects that require planning, collaboration, and problem-solving.

TOPIC: 💧💧FILTRATION-Filtration is a process used to separate solid particles from a liquid by passing the mixture through a filter. The filter allows the fluid to pass through while trapping the solid particles. This method is commonly used in various applications, such as purifying water, and air, and even in industrial processes. The effectiveness of filtration depends on the size of the filter pores, with smaller pores able to trap finer particles. It is an essential technique in everyday life, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the substances we use.

Prediction: the filtration process, whether applied in industrial, environmental, or laboratory contexts, involves separating solids from liquids or gases using a filter medium. The prediction of a filtration process is typically concerned with understanding and forecasting the system's behavior, including the filter's performance, the separation's efficiency, and the flow's dynamics

Observation: Filtration is a method used to separate solid particles from a liquid or gas by passing the mixture through a medium (filter) that allows only the fluid (liquid or gas) to pass through, while trapping the solid particles. The process is commonly used in laboratory and industrial applications, such as purifying water, separating solids from liquids, or isolating specific components in a mixture.

Here is an outline of what you might observe during a filtration process:

Below is the sketch note I’ve designed, capturing key concepts and ideas.👇👇👇👀👀

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed exploring this topic with me. Whether you're here to learn, get inspired, or simply share in the experience, I’m glad you stopped by. Don’t forget to check back for more posts, and feel free to leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments. Until next time!😇😇
